Is Singer D4Vd connected to missing teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez?
Is singer d4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, connected to the missing teenager from Lake Elsinore, California, who was found in the front truck of a Tesla with Texas plates that was under the singer’s name? This is the question on Netizens’ minds as more and more information comes out regarding this case. As of publication, no one has been charged, and everyone is innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the law.
With that being said, there have been quite a few pieces of information coming forward that are making Netizens question d4vd’s innocence in this case.
What we know so far;
On September 8th 2025, the LAPD were called out to investigate a car due to a foul odour, at 12:20 PM, an unidentified body was found in the front truck of the Tesla. The car had been abandoned for five days, and the police have not released who abandoned the car. d4vd was on tour, the Withered World Tour, at the time. The Withered World Tour was supposed to continue up until 23rd October, while d4vd did intentionally keep touring after the Tesla was found, but he has since cancelled shows.
Celeste Rivas Hernandez has been missing since Friday, 4/5/2024. Celeste was born on 9/7/2010, making her 13 years old at the time of her disappearance. She was last seen around 9 PM on the night of her disappearance in Lake Elsinore, California, which is 1134km or 70 miles from LA, where her body was found.
Celeste’s mother has come forward and said her daughter was dating someone called David. The two also have matching tattoos on their right index finger with the writing “Shhh…”. Many other celebrities have this tattoo or a similar one, including Rihanna, Lindsay Lohan, Lily Allen, Cher Lloyd and Neymar.
A thread has gone viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, by user @7wdcs. The thread has 8.8 million views as of publication and breaks down suspicious Reddit posts from this case, which got attention and Discord interactions between d4vd and Celeste. Discord often shows up in missing person, harassment and child exploitation cases because Discord can operate without any verification, including email.
These Discord messages range from 2022 to 2024. In the 2024 messages, users refer to Celeste as d4vds’ girlfriend. There are also at least 3 photos of the two interacting, proving the singer at least knew and interacted with Celeste. In one of the photos, the two are hanging out in person, allegedly on December 12, 2023. Celeste would have been 13 years old, and d4vd would have been 18 years old.
Netizens have also found a song by d4vd from December 2023 about Celeste, with lyrics like;

As of now, that is all that is publicly known. As of publication, no one has been charged, and everyone is innocent until proven guilty in the eyes of the law.
