I would never ask you to love me forever. I’m not the type to believe in such a thing. Forever. The belief that creatures as fragile and limited as humans could ever reach a concept as immortal as forever. Well, it’s not a concept I subscribe to. So, I will not love you forever and would never burden you to ask such an impossible task of you in return. No. Rather Id like to thank you for existing in this pocket of space and time with me. Both of us pretending to practice love and forever - if that is even a word in the English language.
