The Only Must Have Beauty Products
In the current age of overconsumption and influencers shoving the same product with different names and scents down their audience’s throats, it can be hard to find products that fit you, the constant need to try every method and product that is shown to us through the screens.
After constant trial and error, these are the top products that I use on a daily basis that have actually made a difference to my appearance. Every product mentioned in this article is based on affordability, sensitive skin, oily type skin, and curly hair with dead ends due to dye. Keep in mind these factors when reading this article, the products that suit someone like me may not suit you, your skin type, or hair type.
SPF
Over the past few months, I have tried out multiple different types of SPF, some on the price side and some that were advertised for sensitive skin, but actually caused breakouts and redness within the skin. An affordable suncream I have been using recently, that doesn’t irritate my skin and does its job, is the “Boots Soltan Protect & Moisturise Suncare Lotion”. It is a UVB Medium SPF, 200ml. This product is vegan and cruelty-free. While the product advertises that it contains six applications for the body, the 200ml on the face alone can last you a long time, especially for its price of five euros. The Boots Soltan suncream is paired nicely with the Nivea, Rich Body Lotion Firming Body Lotion.
2. Body Lotion
Above, I mentioned the Nivea Rich Body Lotion, which is a brilliant daily body lotion, especially for its retail price. However, it is not the body lotion I will be discussing in this article. The body lotion that I believe is a must-have is on the slightly pricer side, around forty euros.
The Sol De Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Cream is an absolute must-have body cream. The cheapest option for this lotion is the 75ml for twenty-one euros. While it is the cheapest option, the 75ml has around five uses. The body lotion leaves the skin incredibly smooth and has a scent of cherries.
3. Body Mist
We have all seen those TikTokers who have shelves upon shelves full of body mists, body sprays, and perfumes. Of course, one of the most attractive things a person can do is smell nice! However, if you want to smell nice and have a shimmery look to you. The Rituals - “the ritual of sakura rice milk & cherry blossom” is a must. This body mist pairs well with the ritual of sakura rice milk & cherry blossom body cream, offering a silky smooth finish that lasts longer than most body creams.
For the body mist, the retail price for 20 euros. The 70ml body cream is 9.90 euros. In all honesty, if you are looking for new body care, I would recommend checking out the entire Rituals sakura rice milk and cherry blossom line. The price is good for the market, and there are refilling options!
4. Face Mask
I have tried it all - sheet masks, under eye masks, lip masks, clay masks, charcoal masks, cheaper and more expensive masks. The whole lot, and I have never seen actual results. If anything, some masks have damaged my skin, leading to breakouts. However, the Biodance Bio Collagen Real Deep Masks have been a game changer. I know they are popular on TikTok, so you might have your doubts; however, I only started using them after a friend of mine, who is a Beauty Therapist, recommended them. They are more expensive - with four masks costing around 20 euros, however, I would argue they are worth the investment. I haven’t heard any negative reviews regarding this mask - I am only recommending the pink packaging however, as they are better worth your investment than the blue.
